My Love Among the Stars - Chapter 2

With a cup of coffee in his hand, Colonel John Sheppard walked down the corridors of the City. As he passed by anyone else wandering the halls, he alternated between saying a simple ‘Hi’, mouthing ‘Hey’ with a slight raise of his brows, and silently nodding a ‘Good morning’. The male that led the small group had stubble on his face, wore black glasses that covered his eyes, a black t-shirt and a matching pocketed vest over it, along with light grey pants. He held up a weapon and after he surveyed the place. When he deemed it safe, he lowered his weapon and turned to the rest of the group.
