Introduction
Hello and welcome!
My name is Hannah and I will be your humble writer on the HS Writing blog.
Many of you who stumble upon this blog may not know me at all or the kinds of writing that I do, but that is why I am writing this Introduction post.
I write anything from original content to fanfiction to poems to really anything that tickles my fancy.
I’ve got an Once Upon a Time fanfiction series that I am currently working on called The Fairy and Her Captain. I’ve got 11 chapters out on HS Writing and working on the 12th chapter.
I have another original series that I’ve just started to write called Radio Waves about a radio host/writer/author, Ella Rogers, and her struggle to find love in the modern world.
Her friends take note of how secluded Ella is and invite her on a night on the town. During their night out, her friends set Ella up on a dating app and try to get her dates.
All of the dates that her friends match her up with from that night all end in tragedy for her. As she perpetually goes on failing dates, she finds herself on the internet on a pornsite and deeply infactuated with the pornstar Abigail Russell.
Abigail Russell keeps her face hidden and blurred from her viewers to keep her identity safe and let her viewers use their imagination on what she looks like.
One day, the beautiful platinum blonde, Eleanor Day, matches with Ella and they start to talk, hitting it off unlike all the others. It so happens to be that Eleanor is in town visiting a few friends of hers and they can go on a real first date before she goes back to her home across the country.
The rest of their dates for a whole after Eleanor returns are video dates. On one of their dates, Ella discovers that Eleanor and Abigail are the same person by spotting a small heart tattoo on her hip.
She confronts Eleanor about it and she answers Ella honestly, confirming that Abigail and her are one in the same. Eleanor makes another confession that she adores Ella’s radio show The Writing Corner and has called into the station in the past with her questions about becoming an author. She admits to having a bit of a crush on her voice over the radio.
After all of this information is out in the open, Eleanor invites Ella to come and see her for a vacation and buys her a plane ticket. Of course, Ella wants to take the chance to see her in person again, but the station is adament on keeping her on the air for the traffic she brings being a published author from the small town.
They don’t give her a lot of wiggle room to take this trip, let alone really allow her to go in the first place. She has a chance to lose her job if she goes on the plane to see Eleanor. Will she choose to take a chance with love or keep her job to secure her financial future?
Anyways, that is the premise of my own original story. It is a lot to unpack, but it is mine and I love it. Especially setting up the first chapter like I currently am as I’m writing this little introductory blog post.
The plan is to write a chapter of Radio Waves every week and post it on a schedule if things permit. It may not necessarily be on the same day every week, but I’ll certainly try my best at doing that.
With the other writing that I’ve got posted and will be posting in regards to fanfiction. It will either be imagines or one-offs mostly from a large collection of fandoms like Legacies, Lucifer, Shameless, etc. I’m part of a lot of different fandoms ranging from Anime to Fantasy to Superhero to Sci-Fi, etc.
This blog is mostly just allowing me to post up whatever it is I want to write and let those who wish to support me by ‘Buying me a Coffee’ to do that while having all of my content free to read on the blog.
Anyways, that is a lot to unpack, but I’m passionate about fanfiction and creating my own original stuff as well. This blog will help me do that and pursue my dream of doing this blog full time and writing what I like.
